My name is Kirk. i played bass in a poser-metal band from 1988-1991, and we used to play a few Duran covers (to the dismay of the Whitesnake and Motley Crue loving audiences of the day). Songs like HLTW have the most tasty and fun basslines in them. i could play that song all day long.

MySpace accounts are free, and it's just another networking tool available on the web, but there are many music groups who have started using MySpace.com to keep in touch with their fans, and to grow their fanbase by offering samples of their songs online. I find it's a really neat tool with lots of potential.
