Just a thang or two from Late Bar Radio (I am so bad about posting these things, aren't I???):
** The Meltdown streams have been updated with a few new tracks. Nothing too exciting; just a handful of newly acquired remixes, including an extended version of "I Do What I Do".
** Oktober Musings has been udpated, also with new remixes; including a cool 1990s dance mix of "Save A Prayer". Also, tracks from The Devils have been taken out of heavy rotation -- they are still in the playlist, but not with as much frequency.
** If you haven't visited the site in awhile, there were five new tattoos added to the Duran Body Art pages in September and one more added in October.
** For those following my personal tattoo adventures, the enormous feline body piece was completed earlier this month. I don't have pictures on the site, but on the Tattoo pages there is a link to my tattoo artist's shop where he has posted a few. I had two magazine shoots at a convention so with any luck pictures will become available in a month or two!
** And finally, Late Bar Radio is proud to announce a brand new Internet radio show! Starting November 6th, I'll be hosting a one hour broadcast on Club 80s, a fantastic live365.com radio station. The new show is called Fade to Grey, and features early punk and New Wave music from the late 1970s and early 1980s. If you enjoyed A Night at the Rum Runner, the limited-time broadcast programmed by John Taylor and Nick Rhodes, you will definitely enjoy this new show. Check the station page at Late Bar Radio for all the details, or keep your eye on the Club 80s website.
Remember to check the About the Music section for random music commentary. I had a great concert-going week, including David Bowie, Elvis Costello, and a trip to Carnegie Hall. So far only the Bowie review has been posted, but other reviews will be coming next week.
Remember, if you have any comments or suggestions for the stations or the website, drop me a note at djoktober@latebarradio.com.
