I have been a little shall we say otherwise engaged with cancer. Anyone who's been on the LS site may have seen it but I kinda slowed up where I was going for a while there. I had a malignant melanoma removed from my arm in July followed by further surgery to remove more in late August. Another was removed from the bridge of my nose. I'll be going in to have some sun spots removed over the next couple of weeks. They did get it all out of my arm though I now need annual checkups. The one on my nose was a basal cell carcinoma and they don't spread so while they may not have got it all, we'll be leaving it and watching it.
My arm still hurts and the scar is massive to say the least (there's a pic on LS) but I'm alive right! I never did the tanning thing either so it's a wake up call to how easy it is.
